Counselling Psychotherapy

  • Who is counselling for?

Michelle offers a supportive, confidential and relaxed Counselling / Psychotherapy service for adults, adolescents, couples, families and groups who may be experiencing difficulties in coping in some aspect of their life.

Through a verbal or creative approach, Michelle provides emotional support, while facilitating healing and growth.

In addition, a creative approach is useful for:

    • People who have difficulty in expressing their emotions, feelings and past experiences

    • People who may find ‘talking therapies’ too challenging, or who find that they can feel ‘stuck’ when talking

Michelle regards the relationship between therapist and client as central to the process and utilizes an integrative approach to working with clients and has training in many methodologies.

Together with the client she will ensure the best possible approach is used to ensure the client feels comfortable and not over whelmed. The focus of the sessions is to explore ways of dealing with or resolving current patterns or conflicts.

    Areas may include:

    • Depression
    • Sexuality
    • Abuse
    • Relationship Difficulties
    • Bereavement and Loss
    • Self-esteem
    • Postnatal depression
    • Anxiety
